This years Digital Edge conference in Cape Town is almost upon us woop woop! I don’t think I will be able to go as we are exceptionally busy at work but I am going to try my best.
This is one conference not to be missed if you have any draw towards marketing or anything digital and the website states the following:

The Digital Edge Live Show – National Assembly 2012 is for the innovators that want to see the change in marketing and advertising that will enable them to dominate this new terrain. It’s for anyone who wants to be a part of the transformation and migration into the digital movement.

Swimming has never really been my thing or a sport I took much interest in, but when they start to bring in the medals I sit up and take notice. Both Chad and Cameron have made us extremely proud by winning gold medals. Well done lads!
There have been a number of mess ups/funnies since then though and here are some of the best!
Just watch his sister on the right and try and lip read that one. Ooh naughty, naughty!
No wonder he floats so well!
And my personal favourite.
Beautiful! Bring it home again tonight boy! 100m Breastroke final tonight around 8:30pm I think. GOLD BABY!
Ladies and Gentlemen, the rumours you have been hearing are indeed correct. Linkin Park will be performing in South Africa in 2012. More importantly, they will be playing in Cape Town at the Cape Town Stadium on the 7th November 2012.
How flipping insanely awesome is that!? They have been one of three acts that I have been dying to see, with the other two being Blink 182 and Eminem.
Tickets range from R315 for the crappy seated tickets at the back all the way to R690 for the awesomeness that is Golden Circle where I hopefully will be able to get tickets!
Tickets go on sale from Computicket on Friday the 27th at 9am for the Cape Town show. Hopefully they don’t mess up like they seem to do constantly. In fact, it might just be easier to go and grab tickets at a physical Computicket booth.
I initally didn’t click thinking that it was just another promotional thing with a sweets company giving away loads of awesomeness. I then realized that it was a Rascals account that my wildest dreams could be right before my eyes. It seems that the image is indeed of a massive pile of Rascals.
Could they really be coming back!? I am not trying not to get excited, but I seriously hope that this is true and that it is just not a cruel myth or prank!
Rascals, if you get this, DEAR GOD PLEASE SEND ME SOME if you bring them back into the country! *begs on hands and knees*
Eish! Finally! The petrol price is FINALLY set to drop by 89c a litre tomorrow. I tell you, I have been driving around a bit like a granny lately trying to make sure that I try and use as little gas as possible!
I found it quite amusing though and found solice in the fact that petrol heads in Gauteng will now be paying R10.82 for 95, while us in the Cape will only be paying R10.47. Sorry, I shouldn’t say only because that is still a crazy amount to be paying for one litre of petrol.
Luckily I have my little red Corsa that sips petrol like a Catholic girl trying her first beer.
