South Africa’s Rebecca Black – Clarise

I am sure you all remember that awful tune that made your ears bleed a couple months back that went It’s Friday, Friday, gotta errrr…stop singing this song.

With that angelic voice storming our senses, the hype and success was only parallel to a dirty nappy. Yes, she was truly horrible and was actually taken out of school because of the torture of having to decide which seat to take.

Introducing the next girl that is going to be ridiculed just as badly and this time, Local is NOT Lekker!

Welcome Clarise into your senses as you die rather painfully and not nearly quickly enough.

Big up to Mike Sharman for finding this girl who clearly rocks! Yeaaaaaah she rocks! I wonder if we are going to get local parodies like we did we Braai Day and Naai Day?

FNB & Standard Bank Battle of the Banks

When another competitor makes false claims and lays down campaigns that are based on factually incorrect information, you need to step in and correct that, is what Standard Bank are saying to the public at the moment. What they will be explaining to their board of directors shortly though, is how badly they messed this situation up.

Standard Bank Tweet

Today Standard Bank  tweeted “” which lead to everyone jumping on the bandwagon and throwing in their two cents worth on Twitter. Chris M over from iMod.co.za said Standard Bank & FNB Go Head to Head and this got me thinking far more in-depth on the issue at hand. From my timeline, it looks like Standard Bank are fighting a losing battle. The sentiment towards First National Bank was overwhelmingly positive and it seems those that bank with FNB are more than willing to stand up for their bank and go to war in the Battle of the Banks. Some even asking the trusty face of FNB’s social media efforts @RBJacobs if the claims were indeed true.

It would be really interesting to get the guys from over at Brands Eye involved to see what the online sentiment was really like without a biased slant. FNB have a far better social presence from what I can tell so I would imagine they would wins this hands down.

Blog Post

Standard Bank also released a blog post coinciding with their twitter update regarding the complaint and you can read it here. Please feel free to leave your comments on the post. I would love to see how the bank reacts to all comments whether they are positive or negative.

Jeb Corliss – Grounded – Table Mountain Injury Jump

So Jeb Corliss is one seriously tough mofo, after his failed jump off Table Mountain about a month ago, I didn’t think he would actually bother to edit the jump and make a proper video. Below is the edited clip of one crazy ass bitch doing what he does….errr…best?

That is honestly insane! Let’s see if he makes this track as famous as he did AWOLNation – Sail.

Naai Day (Rebecca Black “Friday” Parody) Valentines Day

Rebecca Black is one of our favourite artists. Not because she is talented – oh HELL NO, but rather because her music is so easy to make parodies of such as Braai Day etc.

This one is just in time for Valentines day and features some awesome Cape Town slang. Simply beautiful.

Who is going to be your Naaientines this year?

Shit Gamers Say To Their Girlfriends

Oh this is so true! I can just see the many, many gamers around the world nodding in agreement if they can manage 2 minutes away from Counter-Strike, WoW, DotA or COD. Pure genius the guys that created this video! I hope to see some more of them!

Just two more games and we can watch Sex and the City. Lies…
