Man of the Match: Defoe
Well I was actually rating this to be a fairly close game, but wow was I wrong. The goals came, and just never stopped. I have never actually seen a score like this. My mom told me this morning and I actually laughed at her. I thought, “no ways can it really be 9-1. That is just ridiculous.”
Clearly it isn’t. Defoe grabbed himself a hat-trick in just 7 minues. I actually don’t know what else to say, except something that was said at half-time clearly worked for Spurs. It was only 1-0 at the break, but once Defoe found the net, it was the only thing that seemed to happen.
